ABOUT US
The International Kidney Vasculitis & Glomerular Center (IKVGC) is the subspecialty practice of Dr. Reza Zonozi within the Nephrology Associates of Northern Virginia (NANV). The center focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of autoimmune kidney diseases - particularly vasculitis and many forms of complex glomerular disorders.

ABOUT DR. ZONOZI
Reza Zonozi, MD is a board-certified nephrologist and director of the International Kidney Vasculitis and Glomerular Center (IKVGC).
He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, followed by fellowship training in nephrology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He subsequently served as an attending nephrologist at MGH and promoted to Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He moved to Virginia in 2023 to join Nephrology Associates of Northern Virginia and start the IKVGC.
His clinical research has focused on optimizing treatments for autoimmune kidney disease, with contributions to multiple clinical trials investigating novel therapies such as avacopan and rituximab-based regimens. His work has been published in Science Translational Medicine, Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, and American Journal of Kidney Diseases, and he was honored with the Young Investigator Award at the International ANCA Vasculitis Workshop in Dublin, Ireland.
